Washington State Rosé Blend 2018

It’s Saturday and someone needs to hold your hand. Nuzzle into your neck and whisper something that adds a quiver to your vibe. This wine.. will do this Saturday. It sings all tropi-lime-limestone-is-that-a-baptismal-fountain-or-are-you-just-jazzed notes on nose. Lovely texture of silk. Lovely acid balancing fruit. Washington is there for you. Life will go on. — 5 years ago

D 66 Côtes Catalanes Grenache Blend

iv. What is thy mouth to me? A cup of sorrowful incense, A tree of keen leaves, An eager high ship, A quiver of superb arrows. What is thy breast to me? A flower of new prayer, A poem of firm light, A well of cool birds, A drawn bow trembling. What is thy body to me? A theatre of perfect silence, A chariot of red speed; And O, the dim feet Of white-maned desires! — 9 years ago

Loretto

Rubicone Trebbiano 2014

This wine is sending my tastebuds all in a quiver, it's fruity but strong, it has loads of flavours but not to sharp. Marks & Sparks have this at my local BP petrol station, I might go back and buy some more asap 👌😍 — 9 years ago

One From The Quiver White Blend

2015 Torrentes smells sort of like a Mosel Riesling, but obviously nothing like it on the palette it's lychees, pear, thyme and lemon zest. Very long dry finish with tingly citrus lingering far longer than expected — 9 years ago

Domaine William Fèvre

Champs Royaux Chablis Chardonnay 2014

This is a classic Bill Fevre Chablis. The medley of starfruits and almonds would make Wilford Brimley's mustache quiver. Enjoy this over a bed of poorly shucked oysters and an e.coli ridden Chipotle burrito. The last sip of the bottle is like a Stanley Kubrick film - slow but surprisingly erotic. Producer is a god. Bottler is the antichrist.

La Crau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2009

Clean & Complex, with great body and yet still elegant. This is a standard bearer. So many dichotomies showing perfectly now but many years of brilliance ahead. This is a wine every California GSM producer need in their quiver, as a gauge of balance. I enjoyed it so much we bought another bottle, the most genuine endorsement ! — 9 years ago
