Inky ruby. A bit effervescent. White pepper, mushroom, strawberries, and raspberry. Savory more than fruity. Fairly light and very smooth. — a year ago
A sparkling red is new for me. The bubbles aren’t as many as from champagne region, but the taste is sweet and spectacular! — 5 years ago
Sharp aromas of flowers, pine and pineapple makes this distinctive Albariño from a single vineyard by the Rias Baixas region in Galicia, Spain to differentiate from others. Falls on the dry side and does not have a lingering long finish. A perfect companion on any seafood pairing. — 3 months ago

Never heard of this region, but it was DOCG and $12 so I gave it a shot, and it really delivered! This is the kind of wine you find in Italy as Vino di Tavolo and it is just delicious: very dark & inky, boysenberry and blackberry, brooding, sweet earth, dried herbs, great acidity and balance — dare I say some polish through impressive juicy finish. — 10 months ago

Beautiful balance of bright cherry, forest floor, hints of thyme/herbs, and brambly red fruit. Drinking well 11 years in. — 2 months ago
