See several previous notes. My last of these Cuvées from Kangaroo Island South Australia and owned by the French Lurton family of Cheval Blanc fame. Savoury plum with earthy overtones. With air the aromas were almost intoxicating. Quite bold and full bodied on the palate - oak has integrated. Rich and spicy yet cleansing and moreish. Touch of camphor finishing with fine sandy tannins. — 2 years ago
I’d plough this Blau. Such a great kick from this grape. I like the tension, the tannin. The “Pinot Noir of the East”, I’ll let debate draw out elsewhere. But lay a sausage on a plate in front of me with a bottle of Blau and that is a fine eastern pairing. — 5 years ago
Their Organic Basil Ale. Lovely and surprisingly elegant, with a bit of spritz. The basil adds some freshness and a hint of sweet, with something like ginger and allspice on the back end. — 8 years ago
This was absolutely fantastic. Drank this at Mum’s 80th birthday at The Plough in July 2022 — 2 years ago

Haven’t had in 5 years. Bright nose that smells very 2015. Deep red cherry fruit with some plum accents. Lovely earthy and mineral undertones. Really harmonious. Hint of truffle as well. Palate is ripe and rich but also has fantastic acidity and freshness. Good density but as this has aged the 15 is more there and the fruit is more sweet, vulgar and treacly. Why i’ll continue to plough through my 15 reds. I really think they were better 3-5 years ago — 2 years ago
