Very fine bubbles, slight minerality, a decent yeasty ferment flavor combined with pear. A golden sparkling wine that is quite nice but may not be for everyone — 4 years ago
Not too sweet, light and crisp — 5 years ago

Delicious, and a bit on the feminine side with less richness and body as in other editions, which I thought was interesting given the composition. Crowd favorite. — 7 years ago

Medium translucent ruby in color. Aromas of raspberry, root beer, cinnamon, caramel, and crème brûlée. Concentrated on the palate but with good acidity and flavors of raspberries and licorice leading to a long finish featuring fine grained tannins. Made with only 2% whole clusters then aged 15 months in 44% new French oak. Typical Russian River Valley fruit done up in Kosta Browne style. 14.3% ABV. — 7 years ago
Blend of 44 Merlot, 34 Cab Sauvignon, and the rest Cab Franc. Good wine, but I was expecting more complexity from this single vineyard blend. Nose of currants, chocolate, and spice. Palate delivers plush red fruit with some smokey oak. Tannins are fairly smooth but could use some age. 2013 vintage on Aug 30, 2018 — 8 years ago
The reasonably-priced Right Bank is probably my favorite from the winery. For 2018, it’s a blend of 56% Cab Franc and 44% Merlot.
The perfumed nose offers lush dark cherry, plum, and violet aromas, layered with hints of tobacco, cocoa, and early autumn leaves. The palate is velvety yet structured, with bright acidity balancing ripe fruit and savory spice. Polished tannins lead to a lingering finish with notes of mocha and dried herbs. — a year ago
This is a very interesting Chardonnay based white blend from California.
Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward.
Showing citrus, ripen apples, spices, melons, light tropical fruits, oak, sea salt, mangoes, honey, bitter herbs and peppercorn.
Not for everyone, but if you are looking for a different kind of wine, try this.
Spicy, tangy and very rich. Showing great complexity with a nice mouthfeel.
Thank you John for sharing this with me.
This 6 year old is very unique. Not my style necessarily, but interesting enough for me to enjoy it.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 44% Chardonnay, 40% Roussanne, 8% Viognier and 8% Petit Manseng. Aged for 19 months, mostly French oak barrels and some in concrete and stainless steel.
15.2% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
