Tip top Rioja at Palomar. — 7 years ago
We've had a good experience with Mt Palomar overall but the name of this one didn't inspire. However we got a bottle through our subscription and were very pleasantly surprised. It is bright and spicy. Great for sipping and with robust foods — 9 years ago

Silky, vanilla, honeysuckle, orange. Rolls off the palate. — 12 years ago
A nice non-vintage red that shows deep sweet red cherries, licorice, black pepper, licorice, and lots of balance. The nose is a bit muted, but adds an earthiness to the mix. This easy wine is from high-altitude grapes on Mt Palomar in San Diego county and I am thrilled to have discovered it...to go with a cheesy manicotti dinner! Medium to long finish. — 12 years ago
