Olifants River, Western Cape

Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Notes of Capsicum (red pepper), mulberry and leafy notes. A good entry level Cabernet from Xanadu. Medium bodied with all the characteristics of quality Margaret River Cabernet but a little detuned. Xanadu is one of the up and coming wineries in the west winning major trophies on the Show Circuit like Deep Woods Estate who are challenging the established Margaret River hierarchy like Moss Wood, Cullen, Woodlands, Vasse Felix, Cape Mentelle, Leeuwin Estate etc etc. — a month ago

Winemakers Selection Pinotage 2015

Deep red current color, medium body, dry wine. Faint strawberries & red fruit on the nose. Strawberry spritzer w/ a hint on acid on the fore palate, long velvety, smooth mouth drying finish with cherry jam. No Smokiness in this bottle. (Meditrina Cafe, Valparaiso IN. Falafel appetizer, Beef shawarma- Tim & Paprika Chicken in tomato cream sauce- Paula.) wonderful meal. — 2 months ago
