Very dark, hard to identify fruit due to the significant spice (clove especially), some pencil shavings in the finish. I think I opened this too early and it will blossom and the fruit will come into balance in another year or two. Love this producer. — 5 years ago
Rich aromatics it dried red fruit and herb. Wet stone, berry patch(green plus berry) Italian herbs, dried aged salami, green olive. Lingering depth, red fruit with layers of herbs, green peppercorn, and dried flowers. Soft and clean finish with great acidity. The acid profile makes this wine amazing. — 5 years ago

Not vermentino but this is a unique wine. Tastes like wet slate, lots of mineral. Blend from Corsican Syrah(I think) and Grenache from southern France. Very balanced spice, fruit and acidity. Dark berries and plum. Ripe flavors without heat. — 5 years ago
Beautiful yet powerful. Floral aromas with dark fruit. Tasting great! May be at its prime — 5 years ago

Smells like the forest in France after a fresh rain. Slightly darker and riper red fruit than the younger burgundies I’ve tried. Herbs, wet stone, slight cinnamon, craisins, fresh cranberry, wild ripe strawberries and raspberries. Lots of minerality that finishes with red soil flavors. Surprisingly very acidic still, may be better in another 5 years — 4 years ago
