Nose of wet stone, an overlapping saltiness, and emerging notes of green pear and apple, with a slight note of pastry or some kind of sweet bread, but only dancing in the background. Color of very pale yellow, with slight flecks or green OB the edges and great legs on a light/medium body. It was too cold to begin with, but overtime the flavor opened up with a nice, balanced acidity, a slightly salty and mineral driven finish and a fruit forward palate, with more apple and pear notes, with some cumquat, star fruit and white peach throughout. Really tasty on its own, and I’d imagine very nice with some afternoon food or brunch. — 4 years ago
