Delicious. We used it in a soup, and then at the table, it was a versatile wine, tasted great 😊 — 10 years ago
A rare old drop of sticky #rosemountestate then Bob Oatley-owned; #sémillon #botrytis #1984 #reserve ; 12.8%; #upperhuntervalley ; wine correct, honied, nougat, rarely occurs, now drying; fullly mature; odd wine to acquire from a previous employee. — 10 years ago
Deep ruby (almost purple) color. Bright red berry fruit aromas with hints of fresh rose petals. Very Ripe raspberry and blueberry flavors. Supple and fresh. Soft tannins and light bodied. Touch of spice on the lively finish. This one can handle a bit of a chill. — 4 years ago
Hint of raspberry. Very drinkable. Great with pizza. — 6 years ago
Delicious, rich and smooth. — 8 years ago
Incredibly surprised on how well this wine showed this evening... under screwcap and from a very unnoteworthy region yet super delicious. Still bright and fresh with good mouth feel and some honey and orgeat. — 9 years ago
The palate is a let down from the full nose this wine gives off but still good, and distinctively Riesling. Look out for the rubber/petrol scent. — 10 years ago
Delicious and refreshing. — 10 years ago
Impossible not to like this Margaret River Cabernet from Robert Oatley, a bright, fresh and compact example of the variety with good concentration to the fruit and a satisfying herbal, mineral and tannic edge. This got better with air, showing best on the second night having popped and poured on the first. A wine for early drinking, but an impressive one at that. — 4 years ago
KL 15. Granny smith fruit with pleasant minerality and acidity. Zero malolactic taste. — 7 years ago
It is delicious. Really crisp and fruit forward. Yummy! — 8 years ago
Bright and refreshing on a hot day. — 9 years ago
The LCBO is advertising this wine with a 94 score and selling it for under $20, which sounds and is too good to be true. Over-promising aside, though, it was a lovely wine. Well-balanced, with a good amount of oak and tropical fruit on the nose. A good companion for Thursday night BBQ sausages and corn. #laterwine — 10 years ago
