Floral with great red berries and a bit of earth tones on the finish. A nice find. Worth seeking out — 10 years ago
Talk about the perfect wine for the meal. We did local heirloom tomatoes, Barata cheese, and it held its own. Fois gras with caramelized onions. It definitely started to shine. She had the seared pork chop with polenta, and I had the duck trio which consisted of duck breast and homemade duck sausage. Not only the wine hold its own and definitely made the night more memorable. You can never separate the food from the wine. — 2 years ago

Amazing field blend of red and white varieties - Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira alongside Nunes, Hamburg, Leona, Alessandria and Petit-grains- from Ribeira da Nisa, an 85 year-old vineyard on primarily granite soils near Portalegre in the Alentejo. Light-bodied, fresh, structured and mineral. — 7 years ago
@drinkingislands: beautiful roundness. Cream w/o being buttery. Apple with vanilla. Part malo? At peak Thoughts Roger? — 9 years ago
Been waiting a long time to drink this! Wendy and Fred vintages change from year to year but we were surprised to learn their Pinot held up longer than they're traditionally supposed to. Which is a sign of its excellent structure! — 11 years ago

Dense purple color, dark fruits, quite structured/tannic, needs further cellaring (3-5 years?), long finish, very good!! — 16 hours ago
