Nunes Vineyard Ten Block Pinot Noir

Gorgeous. Simply beautiful. Elegant Pinot from an elegant vintage. 2011 was a tough vintage. Heavy fruit set from an uneventful spring leading into the coldest summer in 40 years. Coupling that with early for rains made it suck to be a farmer/winemaker. So I hear...
floral, delicate rose petal and cinnamon aromas begin this romantic gondola ride. Dried fig, earthy dark cherry and very well integrated, expensive French oak layer the tongue quite happily. Begs for another sip...

Great White Nunes Family White Blend

Smooth white that is best served chilled, drinks like a sweet wine but is not that sweet. Had with sushi and was great. — 8 years ago

Papapietro Perry

Nunes Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013

Slightly underripe strawberries with damp forest floor and a nice finish. More food friendly than I expected. — 3 years ago

Nunes Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013

What a refined effort. Lifted, green/pink strawberry with a touch of raspberry jam. Crushed stones spiky acid and a bit of length. Pretty tasty. — 7 years ago

Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha Dão Red Blend 2012

Very easy drinking red with subtle complexity and nice acidity. Cherry and dark fruits with a hint of chocolate. Nothing special on the nose but can drink it like juice. Would absolutely buy again, especially given the price. — 6 years ago

Nunes Vineyard 777 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2007

Been waiting a long time to drink this! Wendy and Fred vintages change from year to year but we were surprised to learn their Pinot held up longer than they're traditionally supposed to. Which is a sign of its excellent structure! — 7 years ago
