Salted caramel and vanilla nose with black tea, vanilla, dark cherry and clove on the palate. The finish is slightly brighter than the mid-palate going tart with moderate acid. — 7 years ago

Les Clous Côte Chalonnaise Pinot Noir 2013

Really unstable, astringent opening and then settled in the decanter. Perfumed florals. Candied red fruit. Stone and dried leaf. Not particularly complicated but no less enjoyable. Happy Birthday @Gerald Montoya — 8 years ago

Definitely took some time to come around, but very good when it finally did. Could use a few years to tame the acidity but with a few hours in the decanter it's still incredibly enjoyable if only begging for food.

Monterey County Pinot Noir 2013

Deep, dark fruit and berry flavors; finishes smooth and not too dry. Delicious with Italian food or on its own. Lighter bodied but finishes strong — 3 years ago

Gramercy Cellars

Inigo Montoya Tempranillo 2012

I thought I was drinking Spanish Rioja! Aromas of dill, leather and red fruits. Dusty red fruits on the pallet. Medium bodied with smooth and balanced tannins. Great vintage of a great wine, with a great name that references the character in the movie “The Princess Bride.” — 6 years ago

Monterey County Chardonnay 2015

A sweet Chardonnay. Very good. Not that buttery taste a lot of them have. — 7 years ago
