Had this wine 10 years ago at Lupa. Lots of berries- a touch of sweetness. Very smooth but almost too light — 8 years ago
Tart cherry, refreshing, light, dry. — 8 years ago
Beautiful. Velvety texture, medium-light bodied yet textured and deep. Wild red berries, leather, mushrooms, lovely. — 3 months ago
Found at Cucina Enoteca in Del Mar - San Diego County by the glass and at the other locations of this Restaurant group. Well not a 10 but for the money a solid 9. 🌹 roses, violets, cherry and Earl Grey tea. Ruche is a rare Italian grape from Piedmont often you get a shit wine from this very small appellation - this one is good. — 8 years ago

Smooth tannins, cherry and blackberries on the nose. — 3 months ago
A Big surprise, color dark red, nose tension/heat, berries, taste is delicious with a very balanced acid/tannic finish, a thrill. — 6 years ago
Amazing! Great ratings and so smooth. The finish is nice a subtle. — 8 years ago
2013 vintage; grape is called Ruché Castagnole Monferrato grown north of Barolo. Small percentage of grapes (5%) are dried before pressed, like appassiemento, and rest are harvested late. Quite viscous with red brick color of light intensity; interesting intense nose of dark dried fruits and raspberries; same fruits in the mouth with added silky tannins, liquorice, acidity and long finish. Me likey! — 9 years ago

Off the cork, I loved. There’s some earth in there, which I loved, but as this opened up, it got a little more floral and a little more sweet… so I pulled back my rating a touch.
Strong fruit upfront with a little spicy clove and firm tannins. Then a floral nose and sweet finish.
Nice glass of wine. — 14 days ago
