Drank with Sara at Sheraton Miramar in Vina. Very dry. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Nose of dark cherries and berries. Hints of plum as well. Medium body. On the palate cherry, oak, earth, spice, cola and a long finish of chocolate. $48 from miramar. Great wine. Love miramar. I am a member if their wine club. — 12 years ago
Oh María Luz you are a rockstar. I lovingly carried this bottle back from my first trip to Chile, having been bowled over by this fierce female winemaking pioneer who runs Casa Marin with her son. From the chilliest part of San Antonio Valley, a stone’s throw from the sea, Luz’s wine shimmer with acidity and vibrate with energy. At 12 years of age this Syrah is absolutely singing with gorgeous green olive salinity backed by blackberry bramble, dried herbs, white pepper and dried currants. Fantastic acidity and faint tannins make this an utterly effortless mouthful. I wish I had another bottle. Or five. — 5 years ago
Nose of dark cherries, plums and hint of root beer. On the palate taste hints of spice and red berries/cherries. Does not have the same lasting and evolving finish of the earthquake block and chicos run Pinot from Miramar, but enjoyable nonetheless. — 12 years ago
Balanced, varietally correct, surprisingly complex and balanced. Me likey. — 12 years ago
Fruity nose with notes of cherry, plum, and vanilla and spice. Medium body and velvety smooth. Plum on the palate with cherry and dark berries. Very long finish. Delightful Pinot purchased from the miramar wine club for about $50. Will buy more! — 12 years ago

The Beaujolais of Catalonia. Very light at 11.5%. A bit more tannic, though. — 4 months ago
