It’s probably nice and balanced. I don’t know. I liked it but I don’t know how to talk about it. Why am I telling everyone this? It’s kinda meta that I don’t know that either. Well, goodbye — 3 years ago
The 2014 Greenstone is the Maryland Governor's Cup winner for white blends. Named after the meta basaltic greenstone prevalent in hilly central Maryland, this is a non-traditional blend of Albariño and Sauvignon Blanc. High floral notes accompany mandarin orange peel, Meyer lemon zest, winter melon, and minerals. Refreshing acidity and a slight creaminess will help this pair with many salads and entrée. This wine is as interesting to drink as it is to smell and is a true winner. — 9 years ago
Finally opening up my meta pandemic wine :). A little more concentrated and acidic than I remember, but maybe that’s the aging… — a year ago
I do like the label - great colour reproduction (sort of a high vis dark cyan) with a matt finish. Wine is great too - hits those big barossan notes of deep rich blackberry, black cherry, chocolate with ripe tannin, but not over-cooked, lengthy finish in a fresh fruited mid-weighted package. 24% whole bunch. — 4 years ago
Very delicious amarone, rich in smell, taste is dry and sweet at the same time. Pairs well with meta, cheese and goes by itself. Very good deal for the price — a year ago
At Mayacamas, looking out to the San Pablo Bay. Tasting the influence of the marine breeze and spirited land. If the pinnacle of a wine is doing the land justice, not screwing up its potential and maybe, just maybe, capturing even a faction of its magic - well that is what this does. It's hella meta. And I will never drink this wine with out thinking of and feeling this site again. And hopefully I will drink this wine often because my god is it delicious. A draw you in sweetness on the nose and wake you up energy in the mouth. — 10 years ago
