Ruby red, lighter color than expected. Word that comes to mind is freshness. Lighter bodied and never grew over 4 hours being open. Got hints of deeper cab notes but they never blossomed. Curious if they will with some more age — 2 years ago

Surprisingly good (for the price) supertuscan. Had this wine at the recommendation of a friend of the vineyard owner, and had misgivings that it was a biased recommendation, but it exceeds all expectations. Very solid heavy berry fruits, peppery hints, taste lingers well after the gulp. For the price, I think this hits all the right notes. — 10 years ago

Gives Campari and Gran Classico a run for their money.
Family owned from one of the oldest producers in Italy. Sweet orange, bitter orange, and a proprietary spice/herb infusion.
Bitter middle, but finishes with a truly lovely spice influence. Cardamom, coriander, and clove dominate. — 10 years ago
