I have a few more bottles and this seems like it will improve. It is neither delicate, barnyard nor powerful, just pleasant. Firm tannins may soften before fruit dies. Time will tell

Nose is meaty, with dark tangy berry fruit and lots of dry, stony- gravelly scents. Structured and tight in the mouth. Lots of tannin and acids. Needs a couple of years. But it was darn good with the mesquite-grilled skirt steak fajitas I made!

Dark ruby color. Aromas and flavors of red and dark berry fruit, violets herbs and pepper. Nice touch of limestone and mineral on the finish. Firm and powerfully structured. Plenty of acidity. Mild tannins. Nice Thanksgiving pairing. Thank You John P.

Almost amaro-like aromatics - gentian, Chinese 5 spice. Just peeking at maturity. Like Meletti. Which I love. But borderline overwhelming. Fascinating gamay.
