Mmm love me some mead.
Musky like an orange wine. Honey. Beautiful orange, gold, game of thronesy color. The aesthetics are just spot on. Wildflower.
It’s got that charm and fizz that great, well-balanced sour beers have.
Leads with a strong peach, honey, apricot note that flows into tangerine, and finally a little herbaceous kick of sage to finish.
Extraordinary. As in extra ordinary. — 6 years ago

This Danish Mead is a delicious dessert wine! It’s similar to port with a nice honey flavor. I prefer it to port wine. It’s something you can pour over vanilla ice cream, fruit, add to a hot cup of tea or sip over ice! My Viking ancestors were calling to me to give it a try. I am always looking for white wine with notes of honey and now I know why! Skål!! — 5 years ago

2014 vintage. From a 375ml effort. Tasted after being open for 1.5 hours and in the 48-50 degree range. Heavy bod. Plenty of candied orange fruit and unfiltered honey/mead. Just starting to get “interesting.” Needs another decade to add the ole pizzazz. 3.21.26. — 3 months ago
