An interesting blend of 50% Macabeo and 50% Sauvignon Blanc. Light straw color. Aromas of tropical fruit, grapefruit and dried herbs. Lemon and mango fruit on the palate with hints of fresh cut grass, fresh leafy herbs and orange zest. Persistent finish. Very crisp, fresh and vibrant. Fancy castle of the Moorish style on the label. Rest of the label is pretty basic, but effective. Color is a velvety shimmer of red. See through. Smells perfumed and like herbal tinctures. Hint of smoke. Flavors are complex and chewy. Not showing much aging 7 years later. Some nice cherry-berry flavors in there. Also liqueurs or fruit brandy. But savory. This is a wine with finesse and elegance. Balanced and made for the connoisseur. — 2 years ago
