Vieilles Vignes Chambolle-Musigny Pinot Noir 2011

Perfumed, spicy, and woodsy. Just enough tannin to dry out at the end but not overwhelm. Beautiful. Will be buying more. — 10 years ago

Le Rognet Corton Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2011

Nice wine. Beautiful ripe/stewed red fruit on the nose: raspberries, red cherries, cranberry. Floral red rose petal and cherry blossom. Palate reaffirms the fruit, but presents dusty earth and wet leaves. Bright acid really rounds this wine out and elongates the finish. Very impressed considering the problematic year burgundy had in 2011. I paid $65 for this wine retail and would most likely try again at that price (although there are so many wines to try) — 10 years ago

Chateau la Tuemeliere L'Oree Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Melon de Bourgogne

This wine is ridiculous! This has great acidity, notes of white flower and lemon zest. The viscosity is perfect. We paired with fish, would be bonkers with oysters. Will be adding a few more of this to my rack. — 4 years ago

18.5. Sometimes l'Oree can be a bit oxidised (for my taste), not this one. Deep and rich and long. — 9 years ago

Les Folatiéres Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2012

There truly is nothing better that I've seen for Chardonnay. This wine so nostalgic with baked apples, banana peels, and toasted oats. It carries a warm and heavy feeling at first, only to finish with overwhelming, mouth watering acid, lingering crispness leaves you utterly refreshed. I am more than impressed. — 10 years ago
