De l'Orée Ermitage Blanc Marsanne
Marmalade colored. Surprisingly dark and advanced looking. On the nose a little nuttiness. On the palate lucid and refreshing. Lovely balance without acidity.

Jun 3rd, 2018Ok but disappointing. Not much development for 12 year old white Rhône.

Oct 22nd, 2017Pale color. Almost transparent yellow but still with a thickness and a heft. I love the Marsanne grape and its punchiness and complexity. This wine has developed nicely and is ready for prime time. Lemon and other citrus notes. Lingers and was the perfect compliment for lemon and egg tagliatelle.

Sep 9th, 2017Marmalade in color. This has gone through loads of changes after 30 mins in glass. On the nose some sherry, the palate a quite nutty, crisp and flat. A real fruit presence yet all dry and restrained. Interesting stuff.
