Rich and clean. Ripe red cherries and macerated pomegranate seeds emerge from the glass followed by bramble and some mossy soil. Wet clay and perfumed notes linger with a hibiscus character. Ozone like smells, reminding me of wet pavement. The finish is lengthy with cinnamon and cedar and pink peppercorn like oak. Precise and polished.

Nice wine. Beautiful ripe/stewed red fruit on the nose: raspberries, red cherries, cranberry. Floral red rose petal and cherry blossom. Palate reaffirms the fruit, but presents dusty earth and wet leaves. Bright acid really rounds this wine out and elongates the finish. Very impressed considering the problematic year burgundy had in 2011. I paid $65 for this wine retail and would most likely try again at that price (although there are so many wines to try)

What a beauty! Finessed and well-groomed. Ethereal forest aromas, a touch of menthol, rich juicy autumn fruit with dominating cherry. Very very delivious.
