Stuff was divinely smooth with sexy tannins.. 100% Syrah from Crozes-Hermitage, and for a "lighter" style, it was so flavor packed and rich. Smoked blackberries and cedar on the nose, with dark chocolate covered cherries, pepper, dried herb, fig, and mocha on the pallet. 91 pts on The Advocate, and definitely a 92 in my book. Yum! For only $20, new in the Total Wine market. This could be my new favorite daily drinking Syrah... — 8 years ago
Dark garnet color with aromas of tobacco, apple, dark cherry, plum, and green vegetables. Smooth with cherry, stewed fruits, and tart spice notes. — 9 months ago
Got another taste recently at an event. Big rich fruit aroma of this Hermitage of ripe black and red fruits with rustic spices. On the palate cherry and ripe fruit with mineral edges. Fine ripe tannins with hints of cedar on the medium+ finish ending with fruit taking charge. Very nice! Has plenty of room to age. Tasting Sample! — 5 years ago
Yummy, chewy. 2016. $19.99 — 7 years ago
Had with knowledgeable friend - we were both blown away by this warm lychee broth and soft acidity. Great value at £20 Alidi special. — 9 years ago
Star bright pale straw. Subtle nose of white flowers and white pepper. Full-bodied palate with medium minus acidity yields soft white peach, Meyer lemon, and honeysuckle. Smooth and silky, but not oily, mouthfeel. None of the “darkness” on the finish that can occupy many New World Viogniers. Instead, the soft bright fruit and floral notes continue through the end. The low acidity is balanced by the bright fruit making this a great food wine for hearty poultry, fish, or root dishes, particularly those with a cream or light cheese sauce. The gold standard for Viognier. Drink now through 2021. — 5 years ago
Cotes du Rhone Yum. Nice fruity and very easy to drink. Quite the find at PCC market in Seattle. Wonderful with penne pasta with light sauce shrimp. — 9 years ago

Dark purple with opaque black core. Inviting nose and medium full palate of black currant, ripe blackberries, and new leather. Medium tannins that gain assertiveness over time. Medium plus acidity. Syrah as it was intended to be. Ready for all sorts of dinner from beef roast to (yes) hearty salmon preparations. Drink now through 2029. — 7 months ago
