The 2021 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) is a lovely appellation-level wine. Crushed flowers, sweet red cherry fruit, cedar and cinnamon are all nicely lifted. Soft, silky tannins grace the long, delineated finish, with pretty floral top notes that linger. Delicious. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Pisoni Vineyards impressed me at this dinner in Carmel: super delicious SB, crisp and fresh, with complex layers of floral notes. Minerals and acidity finely balanced. — 4 years ago
Luli’s 2021 Syrah (Santa Lucia Highlands) is a potent, brooding wine. Super-ripe dark cherry, blackberry, spice, leather, tobacco and incense race out of the glass. This boisterous Syrah shows quite a bit of intensity but is not exactly finessed, especially in its rather burly contours. $25.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2023) — 4 months ago

Grassy, minty, floral notes meld into succulent peach and apricots in the 2013 Sauvignon Blanc from Luli. Drink this impeccable, Central Coast Sauvignon over the next year. (AG) — 7 years ago
