The 3rd wine at the Louis Roederer dinner on Friday night at the Downs Club. Very much a minimalist wine with input from designer, Phillipe Starck - no malo, no dosage, biodynamic. Only made in ripe warm years from the Cumieres vineyard. A little too bone dry for my palate. — 9 months ago

Absolutely delicious. No doubt Brut Nature the acidity is not subtle but it is beautifully balanced lemon and strawberry, very pleasurable and pure. Pinot driven no off notes as is the roederer style. — 4 years ago

So great to see a Champagne made from the ground up to be a Brut Nature, this is definitely indicative of the richness of '09, don't know about the long-term ageability though, as the acidity is already looking a little out of balance. — 8 years ago
