Fresh citrus, fresh stone fruit, and white flowers on the nose. Lees and brioche with moderate level of toastiness on the palate. Elevated acidity. Base wine from 2012.

We recently had a little celebration at my office which is why we splurged on a bottle of Louis Roederer Brut Premier. We picked it up for $65 from Dan Murphy’s.

This Champagne is a firm favourite for Mr Spittoon and I. In fact it was the first tipple we sipped after saying “I do” 👰 🤵

In the glass it’s a sandy yellow shade with tiny dancing bubbles streaming up from the bottom of the glass. On the nose it’s a mix of crisp lemonade, cashew nuts, freshly baked brioche and vanilla cream. In the mouth it has a super smooth texture with notes of apple slice and lemon rind. I could easily drink it every night if the bank balance allowed it!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

From a btl that was purchased in 2014. This was fresh, vibrant showing citrus, pear, pastry dough with a creamy texture. Excellent btl

Really good. Notes of toast and apple. Somewhat rich, but still pretty drinkable. Would definitely have again, but it's not super bright
