Coming after the Charles Heidseick NV, with a 2008 Base wine, Disgorged in 2015, & 40% Reserve wines with an average age of 10’years, this was nothing more than simple.

Lovely pale gold color and very fine mousse. Beautiful balance between elegance and body. Medium plus intensity with appealing red apple fruit and biscuity brioche on the nose. Long on the palate with medium plus intensity and great length on the finish. A first class Champagne in medium weight style and a great exemplar in a Champagne seminar to share this marvelous wine with students just finding their interest in wine.

Well, it's flawless and harmless, but still... Where's the passion?

Everything tastes better when you're giddily excited. Chile bound in pinch-me style.

Textbook mid range Grand Marque Champagne with hints of the biscuity/buttery notes but focussing more on the mineralogy & focus of the green Apple & pithy texture. Crowd friendly Champagne.
