My first single parcel/single vineyard Jean Dauvvisat Chablis, this is really super great, great minerality and salinity, excellent balancing acidity, deep complexity, I think I’d have a difficult time tasting this blind next to the 1er Crus from the same producer and not concluding this is SO close to them that buying this cheaper cuvée would clearly make tons of sense. 100% Jacquere. Pale silvery/gold color with green highlights. Aromas and flavors of pear, melon, unripe peach, apricot and white flowers. Touches of mineral and saline on the finish. A bit low on acidity. Quite crisp, light bodied and ultra refreshing. A bright, unique and interesting wine. Good starter. — 2 years ago

Chalk, lime zest, some fruit like green apple, mineral powder, Power and depth, superb mineral, more focused. Finesse, nose, refined and that mid palate silkiness. So good. Wow terrific inner mouth aromas. So complex. Long and salty and crazy inner mouth finish. — 3 years ago
