Darker than the Girardin Vignes Franches, richer also with ripe attack,
this had stunning dark fruit, soft tannins, dark spice notes, cherry
puree, perfect 1er cru stature, very nice, if not as elegant as the
Girardin or as silky and pedigreed as the de Montille. Located in
Premeaux at the far south end of the NSG AOC, the richer soils do indeed
impart a darker, richer style. Still had another 5-10 years ahead of it

Very nice villages level Chassagne, ripe apples, some lemom and a saline feel to it, straight and linear but with some depth, precise and clean, mineral and energetic, decent length, a nice 2017 with a domaine I really like. 91-92

Magnifique Villages, pommes et fruits blancs, citron aussi. Une bouche droite, assez lineaire mais avec une telle élégance et une belle classe, minéralité et saveurs franches et énergiques, finale d’une belle longueur, un beau 2017 sur un domaine que j’aime bien.
