Nice golden amber color with rich complex aromas of rich dried fruits, caramel, vanilla and nutty spice, 120 grams of residual sugar. On the palate flavors of apricot, sweet cherry with orange blossom and toasty nutty notes, well balanced with lively nice acidity. Long finish ending smooth with honey nutty spice character. Rides the line between tawny and ruby. Rides it well. Young and bright, but refined with age too. Some tootsie roll, but rich fruit flavor keeps it from getting too chocolatey. — 4 years ago
