Sandeman

30 Years Old Tawny Porto

Nice golden amber color with rich complex aromas of rich dried fruits, caramel, vanilla and nutty spice, 120 grams of residual sugar. On the palate flavors of apricot, sweet cherry with orange blossom and toasty nutty notes, well balanced with lively nice acidity. Long finish ending smooth with honey nutty spice character. Very Nice. Has a Vinolok stopper! — 2 years ago

Cuvée Lea Chiroubles Gamay 2024

Way too young/too fresh but quite tasty - so light in color it’s almost a rose - cherries the overriding flavor on nose and palate. No acidity and pleasingly quaffable. I think best of the fresh Beauj releases I’ve tried — 3 months ago

Pierre Moncuit

Cuvée Nicole Moncuit Vieille Vigne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut Champagne Chardonnay 2008

Great balance of acidity, minerality and chalkiness that showcases terroir of Cotes de Blancs (specifically wine comes from Le Mesnil sur Oger and Lea Chetillions). Lemon zest, freshly baked bread toast and long, dry finish. — a year ago

Fine Ruby Porto

This is a really good NV tawny port and an exceptional value. The best port I've ever had in this price range — 4 years ago

Apitiv Reserve White Porto Malvasia Fina Blend

Reminiscent of orange marmalade with almonds, hints of cinnamon and raisin; boozy. Cheaper bottle of port, but potential for a couple years of aging, I’d guess. — 5 years ago

Sandeman Porto 20 Year Old Tawny

Rides the line between tawny and ruby. Rides it well. Young and bright, but refined with age too. Some tootsie roll, but rich fruit flavor keeps it from getting too chocolatey. — 5 years ago
