2022 vintage. Via Coravin. Medium-heavy body. Well made and delicious yet nothing specifically and currently driving the bus during the field trip. Needed more back-end action but not evident on the finish. Seems like an hour or three in a decanter would do this some justice and completely change this constructed narrative. 02.26.25. — a month ago
Great classic Bordeaux flavors with gravel mixed with smooch tannins and rich fruits. — 24 days ago
Nice floral acidity. Very pleasant to drink right now — 3 months ago
2022 vintage. First time seeing/tasting the 2nd label of Château Lascombes. Flips the main label blend of approx 70% Cab/30% Merlot to 70% Merlot/30% Cab. Turnabout is fair play-and delicious. Just enough grip and grab tannins along with slip and slab fruit punch. $25.10 a bottle resto cost. Send a case and let’s see where it leads. O3.12.25. — 21 days ago
Pale lemon color.
Aromas of lemon, soft butter notes.
Dry. Flavors of green apple, creamy. Soft, understated notes are pleasant.

This is simply delightful, bloody awesome actually.
Typical Napa-purity and dito density, yet laced with Bdx-like treble-notes of freshness, acidity and transparency.
Served it alongside maigret/parsnip/anise-jus, but liked it better before and after this fantastic dish.
Score might be on the conservative side… — 3 months ago
