What is the only thing better than Laphroaig 10 year scotch? The same scotch that hangs out in sherry casks before its bottled.

Tastes like Tequila with a Scotch nose, Interesting concept worth trying once Distillery notes as follows, Single barrels of Añejo from El Tesoro are finally here—and they come with the best collaboration we've seen out of Jalisco. This barrel was aged for 9 months in ex-bourbon casks before a 4-month finishing in Laphroaig barrels, the world's most richly flavored Scotch. The gentle addition of smoke from the peaty barrel without breaking from Tequila traditions is a beautiful combination. Like everything Tequila legend Carlos Camarena puts out—it's well balanced and subtle retaining it's focus on the agave. Bright tropical fruits mingle with a whiff of smoke. The earthiness of the peat brings out the spicier flavors of the agave showcasing a roasted pepper note beautifully. Like an expert chef, the dash of salt from the Laphroaig influence helps everything else to really pop. — 4 months ago
Color of tea. Nose of smoke, peat, sweet dates, spicy and strong alcohol, and more coal like peat. The nose is powerful. Taste is another hit of smoky peat. First sip is dry, however the sweetness surfaces later. Hidden note of marginal sweet apple. Aftertaste shows some baked apple and more smoky peat note. Clean, powerful, straightforward, and tasty. — 2 months ago
Peated nose (of course!), along with a hint of dates. Peat and heat at the start, with slight notes of sea greens. Finishes with brown sugar sweetness. — a year ago
