Amazing. So much flavor and complexity, but a hint of spice at finish and a delicious hoppy aftertaste. The wettest beer I’ve ever tasted.

Very tasty, love the sour bite.

Really, really , REALLY GOOD IPA. Bought one of these on a mix and match and should have bought at least 12! Great Citrus hop, balanced out by a touch of orange peel. Definitely not your juicier IPA. Starts off a tiny bit multi, and then goes to more of a dryer, woodsy style with some pine resin. Could drink 3 of these easy. At 7.5%, that would definitely catch up to you. ..... Maybe I'm glad I only bought 1! — 10 months ago
I’m not a huge beer person, so I’m pretty picky with beers, and this one is quite luscious! It’s fruity and in my opinion easily enjoyable.. Would definitely recommend it to other ladies who aren’t huge on beer but like to join in sometimes :) — 5 months ago
Buttery, candied grapefruit and pineapple, lemon marshmallow, aloe, beeswax candle, juniper berry and pine parchment aromatically. Fluff biscuit head that pontificated amidst perimeter chatter leaving scrawl and stalactites. Creamy with burnt points like baked Alaska. Yammy and browned with sugar before pulling apart to cola, egg cream and bitter chocolate with electric malt shadows. Gum Arabic and pine sap are just the catalysts to this green pinecone and sweet grass turned bitter almond, and oregano oil medicine rinse. Kicks out all the head fog that ails you, and replaces it with resin and tar. Sinus meds. #Lagunitas #hopstoopid #ale #ibu #ibuubme #102ibu4u #LagunitasBrewing #abv #beer #bitter #headmeds — 9 months ago
I’m sorry... I’ve been completely neglecting my Delectable presence lately. I’ve been working the front of the house and the back of the house at Theorem and haven’t had much time to spare lately. I should note that I absolutely love it and wouldn’t have it any other way. However, I do wish there was a way to communicate easily with the Delectable community in a way that doesn’t require a tasting note.
We processed over 6 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon from our Moon Mountain Estate today. 2018 is shaping up to be an excellent vintage and a heavy one too. Theorem’s sites are much later than most of the valley, so we have a few weeks still to go on harvest 2018, but the weather appears to be cooperating, so we can’t wait to close this year strong.
As for the tasting note... I’m in full harvest mode, so it’s beer only for a little while. This Super Cluster from Lagunitas is basically as good as an IPA gets. Loaded with citrus and pine. It combines a freshness and concentration with layers of bitterness and a sweet herbaceous goodness. Strong to quite strong. — 6 months ago
Nor as good as the Lagunitas, by a long shot. Although good, and definitely has thicker malt and body, this wine seems to have a little more of that whiskey barrel influence which short of conflicts with the Hop a little bit. Definitely better with a little bit of food. I honestly think I prefer their regular 471 to this one. — 10 months ago
