Super juicy. Pinot Grigio. Clean and crisp not our Kombucha type - skin contact! Tannic and quite tart but man is this great stuff. Small pears the ones which used to grow on old forgotten trees. Vino da Tavola Rosato 2018

These Indigeno wines are very much of the kombucha category, but with a deeply interesting aromatic profile - a complex dirty version of wines for the people. The sparkling (called “gas”) Rosato is at first a stinky fella of hard boiled eggs which blew off after a day. Under that blanket are musky raspberries and a sour vinegar finish. Not quite the depth of the white, and on the cusp of overpriced, but I’d still buy if you can find a deal.

Super solid unfiltered Brittany cider! Green and yellow apples galore with a bit of hay, some yeastiness/funk that almost reminds me of kombucha, a bit of savoriness and a bit of wild floral character. Super refreshing despite lacking a lot of the acidity I've come to expect in wines, although there's definitely more acid than your average run of the mill hard cider. Drink chilled in hot weather for a wonderfully cooling, relatively low alcohol treat! — 10 years ago
