OK folks that’s like a cheesy label. Dark red. Almost impossible to see through it. Smells like incense, stewed plums and potpourri. Flavors are inky and big. Rich berry bottom. Hint o’ mint. Very dry. This is classic style for CA Petite Sirah. And very nice. — 2 years ago
Light berry spice in front and smooth finish. Good middle day sipping wine. Seems like it would go with most meals. This is for the HartHills Cabernet Sauvignon California organic sustainable vineyards. — 3 years ago
The NV Pinot Noir (North Coast), a blend of 2017 and 2018 vintages from Anderson Valley and the Sonoma Coast, is a total knock-out and a great value to boot. Floral, cinnamon and crushed red berry notes grace a mid-weight, gracious Pinot Noir that screams with character. $25.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, February 2020) — 5 years ago
First of all Kudos to Ant Hill love the wax seal over cork! Deep Ruby with aromas of dark Berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, floral and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry, tea, vanilla and herb tones, well balanced with acidity. Firm fine tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and floral herb character. Very nice! Will age well! — 5 months ago
Beautiful new world Syrah…13.1 ABV…med-weight glory. Smooth, silky , balanced with a stellar finish. Dark, rich purple with a touch of dirt to play off the dark berry notes. These guys make great Pinot Noir… but at around $30 this is a brilliant bargain! — 3 years ago
@Delectable Wine this is ARLYN Farms, ‘In Good Faith’ Pinot Noir 2017
Chehalem Mtn AVA. Dark red berry fruits accented accented by woodsy herbal notes. Fuller bodied Pinot with smooth rounded texture, no hard edges, and framed with vanilla notes. — 4 years ago
Robust red with soft tannins. Went well with Snake River Farms brisket. Stood up well to the heavy brown gravy. Red berry fruit. Long lingering aftertaste. — 2 years ago
Açaí berry and petrichor aroma. Getting slate immediately upfront that turns into an unripe blueberry note. Some rindy melon and pipe tobacco on the mid palate. Grapefruit zest like drying finish. — 3 years ago
Fruit for this Pinot comes from two of the coolest, most coastal parts of this appellation, linked by the influence of the Pacific’s cool marine air, which delays ripening. Ruby with berry fruit, citrus and floral spice. On the palate, strawberry and cherry, tangy, with cedar notes and earthy tones. Bright acidity, soft expressive tannins, long finish ending with tobacco and woody spice. Very nice, drink now & over next 5 years. — 4 years ago
