On the nose, ripe, ruby fruits of; dark cherries, black raspberries, blackberries and raspberries on the edges. Black licorice, sweet tarry notes, cinnamon, vanilla, some clove, dark rich soils, suede leather, dark fruit cola, light crushed rocks, nice spice and dark deep violets.
On the palate, the body is lush & full. The tannins are firm, meaty, tarry and sticky. Ruby, ripe; dark cherries, black raspberries, blackberries, cherries & strawberries as it opens up with raspberries on the edges. Black licorice, sweet tarry notes, cinnamon, vanilla, some clove, dark rich soils, suede leather, dark fruit cola, light crushed rocks, heavy grippy dark minerals, nice dark spice and dark deep violets. The round acidity is beautiful. The rich, ruby ripe, lush, elegant finish is divine.

Delicious, smooth, great for sipping. — 2 years ago
Beautiful white florals, all the stone fruits, some white citrus, honeysuckle, lemon, fruits blossoms.
Very good wine and quite inexpensive.
Photos of; the Andes that feel like you could drive there in ten minutes but is still a 3 hour drive. The artwork in the center entrance of the property...it represents an inverted diamond similar to the Louvre. The top of their gravity stainless tanks and their library tasting room. — 7 years ago
Absolutely singing. Dried bing cherry, dusty leather, cured meats, tar and (after an hour) a minty quality that was remarkably fresh. Which, may be why the grilled lamb chops with a bit of mint sauce paired so well. There was a bit of a revelation for myself though. The wine did come across a bit too hot to be successfully paired with the lamb alone, but with the slightly sweet mint sauce the heat was curbed. An inverted "spicy food = sweet wine" solution to an extent. — 8 years ago
Fun juxtaposition of the carbonic fruit and floral qualities with Tannat's deep color and tannic structure. Pomegranate, red apple skin, dropped cranberry, raspberry, pink and purple flowers, stale spices. Very interesting and another unique addition to the Alloy canned lineup! — 6 years ago
A Bordeaux blend. Spends 22 months in 70% new 400 liter oak barrels. Nose of fragrant floral fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum. Licorice, anise, dark chocolate and fresh, dark florals. The fruits are ripe and fresh and match the nose. Black licorice, tarry notes, loamy soils, moist dark soil, lead pencil, cedar, tobacco, underbrush, great acidity and a beautiful long finish. The structure is better as is the tension and length. This bottle needs 8-10 years in bottle for a higher score but for many hard not to dry young. Photos of the view from the Long Shadows patio, another one of the glass blown floor lamps and a concrete fermentation egg...interestingly in an inverted shape I hadn't seen before, no real difference in effect. — 7 years ago
Really stemmy, inverted, will need lots of time to get that roasted meat out. — 9 years ago

Reductive nose and reticent palate inverted those descriptions after 45 mins. A Puligny ringer. No flab here. En mag. — a year ago
