What's makes for sappy wine? In a sea of a thousand definitions, mine has (with pure blind assumption) been those moments when the fruit is so there, it's intrinsic and not a reference or reflection. Like a concentrated sap of the plant. Essence. Deep to the core, with texture and a sense of youthful juiciness. Cherry Sap is what comes to mind in the 2019 Rebourgeon.

Cherry sap with beautiful peripheries. Cedar, coffee, cocoa, salty minerality. Behaves well, sits pretty and perched in its little place.

Wines like this don't come around often. This wine has been aged but its complexity and balance are what astounds. It has that intrinsic Spanish iodine taste but with the layers of dried berries the wine is dynamic. Paired with smoked chicken, escarole and avocados. — 8 years ago

For those of us who prefer life in varied tones, who revel in the complexities and nuance intrinsic in existence: find yourself a bottle of this elegant rose. Subtle, but present. This inexpensive Garnacha rocks. Solid, medium to full bodied. Lasts on your palate. True to Garnacha. Dark plums and cherry. Spicy at the finish. Such a great wine at such a cost. Value is intrinsic to Spanish wines. Great with grilled halibut and white Spanish Asparagus with olive oil and rich mayó. Crusty bread and butter. Tres Leches also goes well with it.
