From steep sloping Hidden Ridge Vineyard. Mostly Cabernet with Petite Verdot (2.5%) blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of dark bramble berry fruit with hints of coffee, lavender and sweet spices. The expressive palate is full of black berry/plum and blueberry fruit with additional notes of tobacco, black tea, and dark coffee. Pleasant sweet spicy/oaky and very long finish. Costco Advent Day 7. So powerfully dry, it’s almost too much but not for me. I loved the dry, earthy flavor! This is by far my favorite of the advent wines so far. I would definitely buy this wine again! Bold and plum forward - and 14.5 % to boot! — 3 years ago
