Hubbub Jubilee Vineyard Dolcetto 2018

Seems sweet at first, but drinks dry. Not tannic. Very good for colder weather. Enjoyed very much! Hints of vanilla and maybe cherry? — 4 years ago

Dakota Shy

Moulds Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

This came recently and I couldn't resist what all the hubbub was about. I killed a baby here but man is this black and blue fruit the true killer. Give his 5 years and score will be much higher. — 8 years ago

Château Mouton Rothschild

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1982

Always a treat. Not so sure about the hubbub over 82 anymore. This bottle seemed like it was going — 9 years ago

Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg

Les Chaignots Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Burgandy at it's best! Felt like I took a day trip there. Texture, balance, fruit, site and acidity all artfully conveyed. One sip and you understand all the hubbub. — 9 years ago

Palari

Faro Nerello Blend 2008

OK, I've heard all the hubbub about Faro, Sicily, but this is great wine. So I guess I have to believe the hype. It's not just a marketing ploy. 2008 vintage. — 9 years ago

Dom Pérignon

Brut Champagne Blend 2006

Instill don’t understand what the hubbub is with Dom. I mean it was fine but I’ve had much better for a lot less! — 5 years ago

Envinate

Lousas Viñas de Aldea Mencía 2016

Pretty pumped to find some Envinate wines at a little wine shop in the heart of Seattle. Grabbed this guy to see what all the hubbub about Ribeira Sacra is all about - and it did not disappoint. 85% Mencia with a field blend of local varieties rounding it out. Gorgeous alluring nose of fresh market black cherries, cherry candy, violet, and a bit of musky earth. Beautiful crunchy red fruit and textured cinnamon/clove spice plus a bit of graphitey (we’re gunna pretend that’s a word) minerality. Beautiful wine, and again, very gluggable. Wish I had more of this. — 6 years ago
