If it's been a while since last Nebiollo, this is what you want. Ease into something softer, with rounder curves.
AR.PE.PE is a cherry cooler with herby accents and teenage tannins. Pours pretty, with a clear glow and lots of potential energy stored up, ready to go. Luden's cherries, rosemary, soft salts, maybe a squirt of cola.

100% Viura, 6 months skin contact.
Absolutely LOVE this wine!!
Viura fans only please, find it, drink it, love it, buy a lil more & stash it. Waxed. Specialz.
If I had another bottled, and chilled.... it would be a special night.
For me, this wine is possibly equated to a Burg-hounds iodine marinated fossilized crustacean shell infused Kimmeridgian fruit forward Chablis (love my Burgundy Blanc’s too)... or something.
More Vintages, Please!
Paired with hickory smoked Salmon.
Note-wise, Ill say it has great fruit, golden, iron-like note, along with a ?peppercorn skin essence? (Essence mixed peppercorn, olfactory, not bitten into), hint of apricot... texture changes with temp (more tannic and rough when cold, smooth round fruit when warmer). Pure enjoyment. Possible almond shell note with age.
Does not state exactly, the length of skin contact. Harvest - bottling on. March 2, 2019. Approx 5-6months (Sept-March). 13% ABV — 3 years ago

I’m not normally a Pinot Gris fan. They all kind of taste the same to me. This one feels more complex. Notes of crisp green apple on the nose and citrus on the end. Very refreshing. Drank it in the winter but bought more bottles to sip it in the summer. — 5 years ago
This oak aged pear wine packs a punch at 19% alc content. This wine is a dessert wine but is about middle of the road in terms of sweetness. Nice pear taste from beginning to end and is made of 100% pears. This wine has won an award picked by a judge. — 6 months ago
Raul Perez is a bit of a wine rock star, so I admittedly came to this 17$ entry level new project of his (with the Prieto varietal) with baited breath…& it did not disappoint. It drinks like…surprise.. a baby Morgon, with clean red cherries set in a fairly mineral frame. Quite lush on the nose. Not for acid hounds per se but still so vital & fresh. — 2 years ago
Had a glass at the winery and it tasted good enough to buy a bottle and bring home. So … at home , it pours a deep ruby color. Aroma of red raspberry and berries and a hint of smoke? . Cherries and raspberries in the middle with a dry pucker at the finish. — 3 years ago
