Loire Valley Gamay. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of juicy cranberry, red plum, red cherry with additional notes of violets, mushrooms, earth and baking spices. Medium-minus body (based on the color you would think otherwise) and medium acidity. Extremely soft tannins and bone dry. You can smell and taste (pleasant) the carbonic Maceration. Quite interesting. Excellent with food. — 8 months ago
