Highliner Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2021

I couldn’t pass up picking up a bottle of the “Sideways” 20th anniversary bottling of Hitching Post’s Highliner. Aside from the movie recognition, it’s a damn good Pinot, though a bit heavier in style than others. Vivid, fresh flavors of cranberry and cherry with a bit of spice. Delicious. Fruit sourced from three different vineyards in Santa Barbara County. 100% Pinot Noir. 4/28/25. — 2 months ago

Isabel's Cuvée Gibson Ranch Grenache Rosé 2022

2022. Weather was really encouraging rosé on the patio, so we were happy to oblige! Loads of chunky sediment that was easily kept in the bottle (kind of). Delicious pink grapefruit, strawberry, watermelon. Mouthwatering acidity, but balanced with the fruit. — 2 years ago

Gibson Ranch Grenache Gris Rosé 2023

That time of year again. My second vintage of this funky rosé. Just like I remembered. Some polarizing reviews, but I love the wildness of this Grenache Gris. Just right for turning leaves and Fall harvest. Would also be nice as a Thanksgiving aperitif if you can wait. But I had it with leftovers. — 8 months ago

Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2018

This is drinking really nicely now- highly recommend- sometimes you have to wait for these older vintages to shine- this one is light &fruity, A nose that will challenge not only your memory but your palate. Notes of strawberry, cherries, a hint of vanilla. It's mouth feel is perhaps the most even ever felt on this tongue. Perhaps amongst one of their best vintages of from the" legend-(wait for it) dairy" terriors in the Santa Rita lowlands that Grey and Frank have offered. Although this label continues to amaze year after year with their simplicity, consistency and value.
One would expect to lay much more for this bottle, which makes it a very good choice.
