2014 vintage. Starting with the 1982 vintage La Tour de By released a high end wine called Héritage from the best selection of the oldest vines. This 2014 is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. It features an attractive nose with cassis, cedar wood and a hint of truffle. I like this wine. There’s nothing subtle about it though. Ripe apricots on the nose. Melon and apricot on the front. Intense mineral high notes on the mid palate and slightly sour (lemony) finish make an excellent summer quaffing wine. — 7 months ago
