A standard bearer for me. Solid wine. — a month ago
Had with Isabel, Chris & Lisa at Sushi Kim 2. Relatively smooth, but I ate too many different foods & probably changed to taste too much such that I can’t provide an accurate description. Will need to try again. ADDENDUM: Tried again at Nana & Pap’s on my birthday and it was much better. Excellent. — 9 months ago
This has just the perfect blend of syrah, merlot & cab. Goes down easy. Smooth and dry. — 13 days ago
Fruit forward, very smooth. Drinking with Rafael in Menlo Park. — 2 months ago
Fruit forward, big cassis notes. Not the longest finish but this is definitely a good value quaffer. Having it chilled after a long exhausting day on Fraser Island adds to the allure. 🇦🇺 — 4 months ago
Each wine in the series is named for a horse born to Maggy Hawk: Jolie, Afleet, Stormin’ and Unforgettable, and to her sire, Hawkster. Medium Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits with notes of dried herbs, citrus and woody spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine soft tannins on a long finish ending with cacao, spices and slight earthy character. Very nice! — 2 months ago
