La Rioja Alta

Gran Reserva 904 Rioja Tempranillo Graciano 1890

Excellent wine. Some hint of cherry and sandalwood on the nose. Touch of herbs as well. Nice and well balanced on the palate with a super long finish! Gracias #riojalta I will wait on the rest of the case to see it evolve. ! — 4 years ago

Tentenublo

Xérico Vinaspre Rioja Tempranillo 2016

Regalo de mi vecino favorito por mi cumple. De suave aroma, en boca es afrutado y chispeante. Poco a poco se va asentando. Moderno. Me sabe a uva. Va a caer toda la botella sin darnos cuenta. Vecino, gracias. Repite cuando quieras. — 6 years ago

El Enemigo

Gran Enemigo Mendoza Red Blend 2009

El Enegimo ‘Gran Enemigo’ 2009: Bold. Refined. Memorable. This is perfection in a bottle! Dark fruits. Menthol. Spice. Silky fine tannins with an elegant long finish. All in all, life is good when you have milanesas y un buen vino Argentino! Gracias mamá! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago

Alvar De Dios

Tio Uco Tempranillo Garnacha 2016

A Tempranillo based wine from the Toro region made to be drunk young. Aromas of flowers and spices. Cooked strawberry, rose petal, leather, baking spice and earthy flavors. Neutral oak. Big enough, but light enough to chill and enjoy on a hot day. Not your typical Spanish Red. — 6 years ago

Bodegas Dios Baco

Oloroso Jerez-Xerès-Sherry Palomino Fino

It is sweet. The label makes it a bit confusing to reason that and to be sure it is no PX but it has sweetness. And it is so good. Once I accepted it as a not-dry wine I was into it. — 3 years ago

Seavey Vineyard

Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon 1997

A little tired. Some black fruits here, but a lot of vegetal notes as well. Didn't really do so hot especially sitting right next to an 01 Colgin that pretty much wiped the cab competition right outta the park. I definitely believe bottle variation is in order here, as 97 was a pretty darn good year for Napa cab overall and I would love to see what the bottle that was aging right next to this one tastes like. Love Seavey wines, and muchos gracias to Keith for opening this one. — 6 years ago

Had the ‘96 at the winery 3 years ago, and it was tired, too. It seems like twenty years or more might to be too long for these.

Extremely Bordeaux like. Leathery and herbal, but not necessarily green. I actually enjoyed this for what it was as it’s always a treat to enjoy older Cali wines. Black fruit, graphite and bay leaf are present. Completely integrated. Drink up!

@Shay A just wasn't in the mood today. Came close to that 87 SLV but couldn't pull the trigger. I don't think I have this one much of a chance and I think your experience was about an hour of air after mine! (Aka I should have gone back to it!)
