Good Italian red — 2 years ago
I started to open my Puglia stash I brought home from holidays. This is the first vintage of a winery which started in 2019 in Gioia delle Colle. Insane how good this Primitivo tasted. Only 600 bottles were produced. Very fruity and round but due to the higher elavation quite some acidity that adds freshness. A winery to keep an eye on in the coming years — 3 years ago
One of the best reds of the trip. Very tasty, velvety with tannins. Fruit forward (I don’t know what I’m talking about). Damn good, local and cheap — 3 years ago
Delicious #primitivo Made with #organic grapes in #gioiadelcolle Clean, pronounced aromas of ripe red cherry and ripe red plums with hints of caramel and cream. — 4 years ago
Sweet, thick, juice
Tart dark berries, spice, dry — 4 years ago
Heavy brew, 16%! The alcohol is not even that noticeable, but this is chunky, juicy and voluptuous. Prunes, cacao and a warm and lingering aftertaste. Wine for a winter’s day (which it most surely wasn’t) — 2 years ago
Deep ruby; pronounced intensity aromas of vinyl, tar, earth, and leather upon pouring; more fruit as it opens up, blackberry, black plum, cocoa; dry, medium acid, high tannins, medium alcohol, full, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, this is a BIG wine, very complex and concentrated — 3 years ago

Fruity and pleasant, maybe a little too dry? — 2 years ago
