Nose is a touch of green onion/ganja and then an explosion of citrus fruit namely grapefruit and orange. There are some tropical elements as well: papaya and mango come to mind.

Loads of tropical and citrus fruit on the palate: pineapple, mango, grapefruit rind. Bitterness is pretty firm for the style but not overdone. Good length with lingering citrus peel. Juicy indeed.

Pretty funky nose. Brett stands out but not in an overly barnyard way. More like juicy fruit gum and clove. Some ganja/dried oregano and maybe some under ripe strawberries or watermelon. Wild.

More of that juicy fruit gum but now accompanied by some lovely strawberries with good acidity and a touch of cranberry skin bitterness and band-aid funk on the finish.

Quite a thought provoking and tasty rosé for my palate. Don't fear the funk! — 6 years ago
