Feb 1st, 2020The Demière-Ansiot 2006 has the sort of flavor profile I adore in a Blanc de Blancs. Opens with lush, expressive aromas of kumquat peel, apricot, brioche and smoke. In the mouth, it's intense, generously layered with a fine, arching acid spine. Amid a rhythmic staccato of citrus and orchard fruit lies an undercurrent of mouthwatering salinity, crushed shell and sea foam, sweeping on through a lengthyand persistent finish. Bravo. Bravo.

Oct 17th, 2015Tasting portion: nose is candied cream. Acidity is attacking, lengthy, and smooth. Fruit is full, well-rounded, complex, and completely in balance. Compared to the NV I find this very pure, uncompromised, unaltered, and well captured.
