Golden brown in color, light head on pour, small to medium sized bubbles. Honey note in nose. Complex apple flavor profile is the canvas for the painting of botanical flavors - dandelion, chamomile, lemon balm and burdock. Dry, no tannins on finish. Not my favorite from them, seems I might be allergic to the dandelion, but a nice product, well crafted as usual. — 6 years ago
Cloudy pale yellow in color. Complex nose with no apparent variety dominating. Spritz on front, mild flavor profile with some winey notes in middle followed by back of mouth astringency and malic acid tartness on finish. Interesting cider given wide assortment of family growers' apple varieties used to make this. A Different style from their other cider products, but honest, well made and traditional/rustic in style — 8 years ago
Everything that Finnriver makes is very good. This is excellent. Great acidity carries the day. 500ml, 18.5% abv. — 9 years ago
Autumn’s Blush sparkling cider with black currant, 6.5% alc/vol. Light cranberry red with golden tinge, excellent clarity. Small head on pour but quickly dissipated, light carbonation, pinpoint bubbles. Black currant notes dominate in nose, as do tart (malic-citric) earthy black currant flavors, bone dry, minimal astringency. Tasty and well made as per Finn River standards, but the cage for the cork was one of the tightest, most difficult to open in my life. But hang in there, work hard at opening this one (pliers or a dry towel will work); you will be rewarded for your efforts — 5 years ago

Flavored with saffron, toasted fennel, star anise. Golden brown, excellent clarity. Light carbonation, head disappears quickly after pour, pinpoint bubbles. Apple, anise and saffron-floral notes in nose. Anise flavor in first sip, followed by mix of apple and anise flavors. Saffron comes through as light perfumed note throughout. Slightly tart malic aftertaste, with mix of apple pulp and saffron astringency. The cider here is a medium for showing off the botanical additions, much of the apple character gets lost in its role as the canvas, with the cider maker in the role of the painter. The botanicals are the colors at play in this, er, painting. (Belabored, ain’t it? Basically it’s a portrait in contrasts). Pleasant enough but not my favorite since so many of their ciders soar by comparison. Well made and interesting in an analytical way, however. — 6 years ago
Pear cider - don't really taste the pear but it's a good tart apple cider, not too sweet. Get again if I'm feeling an apple cider — 8 years ago
