Dégustation à l’aveugle de 5 Pinots Noirs. Encore un peu d’élevage perceptible mais un vin sur les fruits noirs entre autres, généreux et puissant mais avec une texture soyeuse, non dénué de finesse, très long. Mon no 1. 93-94
Blind tasting of 5 Pinots Noirs, no 2 for the panel. My no 1. A touch of new wood still but lots of generous fruit, good power with a great texture, nice volume and some finesse, very long finish. — 2 months ago
Earthy, slightly savory notes meld with black fruit and espresso on the palate. The finish is mildly tangy, with suggestions of black cherry and underbrush. No hurry on these, as they have both the structure and the acidity to continue aging well. This bottle showed best after 2+ hours of air. — 3 years ago
First wine in over 2 weeks after dealing with walking Pneumonia. I believe this is the inaugural vintage, in a great place. Fairly powerful yet the grace of this wine stands out. Berry, light cedar and plum. Finish presents a mouth coating rush of black fruits and anise. Fantastic. — 4 years ago
Solicantus white 2019, first vintage.
Entre Deux Mers .
60 % Sémillon, 25% Sauvignon blanc, 13% Sauvignon Gris, 2% Muscadelle
Lovely aromatics, a mix of exotic fruits and citrus, flowers and a hint of fresh basil and honey. Bright ripe fruit, fresh and balanced with a nice slightly almondy finish. — 8 months ago
2015 Sine Qua Non Entre Chien et Loup.
Blend of 44% Chardonnay, 40% Roussanne, 8% Petite Manseng and 8% Viognier.
Decanted it for 2 yours. Needs a bit more time in the bottle.
Deep golden color. Palate- Caramelized peaches, poached pear, apricot, orange blossom, spicy mint. Need to revisit this again in another 5 years. — 2 years ago
Smooth, special, sincere! Another gorgeous wine from Entre Nous - and a Malbec to boot! Decanted for two hours before dinner, and the juice that resulted was beyond measure. Thank you @Jim Trobaugh for this delightful wine. It was supreme with the prime rib and pop overs! And only 2 barrels?! Merry Christmas to us! — 5 years ago

As if Part 1 of Saturday night wasn’t incredible enough, Part 2 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH was all Sine Qua Non wines. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
The second SQN White we enjoyed (after having the ‘15 “ Entre chien et Loup” the night prior) was this beautiful wine. This is more Roussanne dominant than the prior bottle, which explains the more waxy, cool mint, nutty aromas and notes on the palate. Honeyed fruit with a toffee like finish. What a white wine! Thanks @David L . — 3 years ago
Has that ruby red pinot color unlike the normal big cabs I like, this was the most expensive out of the 6, $150.00 minus the 25% discount, so still a little over a hundred.
None were horrible, but nothing special out of the 6 this wknd either.
Should of looked at Parkers review first, 90-93,
2nd day & 2 more hours of decant really opened this up, — 5 years ago
