This was a purchase from last bottle so I figured I would give it a try. Darker color than expected. Nice taste longer than I like taste. But overall very good. Look forward to purchasing more Barolo from this vineyard. — 5 months ago
Wine prices in Tokyo tend to be expensive but this was about $200 AUD. Probably sounds dear but when you’re here that’s not too bad. Medium crimson in colour. Just medium bodied - red fruited with cherry, strawberry and earthy silty notes. On the palate went well with a Grade 4 Waygu steak which was very expensive but it was a good match. All very satisfying. From a good vintage in Piedmont. The photo is from the Delectable library but the vintage we had was 2016. — 4 months ago
Stellar Barolo. Definitely of the new school, lighter color, lightly structured, but radiant fruit in a refined style. Decanted 2hrs. Perfect pairing for veal/osso buco, maybe less so for a roast. Some debate whether more age would refine the fruit further or cause it to dissipate. No idea but have two more so can experiment! Made me want to get on an overnight to Piedmont tonight. — 5 months ago
Loved this! — 3 months ago
Medium rubi colour, like a pinot noir. Very reticent nose of crushed flowers ans dar cherries. Tannic and reticent in the mouth, long and elegant, you decant first or give it another 4 to 5 years in bottle. Great barolo done in classical fashion. — 4 months ago
Beautiful, feminine Barolo. — 5 months ago

This was such a great one. Wish I could have kept it long enough to get a little age but it was still drinking nicely. Cafe Urbano (byob) is always a great place to enjoy a nice bottle of wine. — 12 days ago
